ART FOR THE HOME
Function meets artful decor. Erin collaborates with interior designers and homeowners to create unique, custom objects of art designed intentionally for the home
Ring and Bracelet
Vase Collection
Erin often envisions her vases as little people with personalities. In this Collection, she adorns her vases with rings and bracelets. Jewelry can make us feel gorgeous but also has the capacity to restrict and confine. Some pieces jauntily show off their bracelets and rings while others push back against society’s norms and constraints.
INK TEXTURE
Inspired by Erin’s collaborations with San Francisco restaurants Californios and Nightbird, the ink texture collection combines a rich ink glaze with finely beaded texture. Read more about her restaurant work here.
AZURE
A collection of calming, glossy blue. This glaze has reflective properties which makes each piece unique as the glaze interact with various clay bodies from brown to red.
INK SPLATTER
A collaboration with Lianna DeFleur, an Oakland-based tattoo artist, inspired the Ink splatter collection. The blue-undertones of this black glaze are reminiscent of tattoo ink.
ALABASTER
The Alabaster Collection features milky-white semi-matte glaze. Some pieces also include rich texture. This was Erin’s first collection.
VALENTINE
The Valentine Collection is inspired by Erin’s collaboration with Hilda and Jesse, a San Francisco restaurant that features a singular brunch tasting menu. The pops of red and pink flow in conversation with the decor of Hilda and Jesse, as designed by Noz Nozawa. Read more about Erin’s restaurant work here [link].
Midnight Campfire
Erin’s Midnight Campfire collection was developed during the beginning of the pandemic to explore themes of connection and separation. Families found new ways to gather outdoors, sometimes around the glowing embers of a Midnight Campfire.
OBSCURA
The Obscura Collection features ink and alabaster-dominant ocean patterns that explore the inverted nature of a camera obscura. The Camera Obscura adjacent to the Cliff House on Ocean Beach in San Francisco was the inspiration for the Obscura Collection.
“Her work is texturally rich, featuring glazes that crackle and pop in the kiln and colors that cascade over each other like the melted edges of an ice cream sundae. It draws attention while being hyper-aware of its ultimate utility”
